Educational Talent Search serves 850 students in Columbus County and Whiteville City Schools. Free supportive services include tutoring and mentoring; personal, career, academic, and financial literacy counseling; exposure to college campuses and cultural enrichment activities; and assistance with college entrance exam preparation, financial aid and college admissions applications.

Application Process

Students currently attending schools served by Southeastern Community College ETS that are interested in becoming ETS participants should contact either their guidance counselor or the ETS office directly. The application can be downloaded below.

Tutoring Information

Current ETS participants interested in receiving free tutoring should contact their coordinator immediately to make this request. All tutoring must be pre-approved by the ETS office.
