Fall Semester 2018

All Employees Meeting – Monday, August 6
Prison Classes begin – Tuesday, August 7
Basic Skills Lab begins – Wednesday, August 8
Classes begin – Monday, August 13
Labor Day Holiday – Monday, September 3
Fall Break – (Healthcare & Prison Only)  – Monday – Tuesday, October 1 – October 2
All Employees Meeting (Healthcare & Prison Ed classes will meet as scheduled) – Tuesday, October 23
Thanksgiving Holiday –  Wednesday-Friday, November 21-23
End of Semester – last scheduled class meeting – Friday, December 14
Note: Community Service classes will begin and end throughout the semester

Spring Semester 2019

All Employees Meeting/Prison Ed classes begin – Wednesday, January 2
Basic Skills Lab begins – Thursday, January 3
Classes begin – Tuesday, January 8
Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday – Monday, January 21
Spring Break (Healthcare & Prison Only) – Wednesday – Monday, March 6-11
Easter Holiday – Friday & Monday, April 19 & 22
End of Semester – last scheduled class meeting – Friday, May 10
Graduation – Friday, May 10
Note: Community Service classes will begin and end throughout the semester.

Summer Semester 2019

Basic Skills Lab begins – Wednesday, May 15
Classes begin (Including Healthcare & Prison Classes) – Monday, May 20
Memorial Day Holiday – Monday, May 27
Independence Day Holiday – Thursday, July 4
End of Semester Healthcare & Prison Classes- last scheduled class meeting – Friday, July 26
End of Semester – last scheduled class meeting – Friday, August 2

**All attendance records must be turned in to the SCC Workforce & Community Development Division Office immediately after the course ends.

Occupational Extension Fee Structure

0-24 hrs   = $70

25-50 hrs  = $125

51 + hrs    = $180

Community Service Fee Structure

All Community Service classes are self-supporting. Registration fees are based on instructional costs associated with each class and a minimum class size of 8 students.
