East Columbus Jr./Sr. High School senior Gabby Andrews signed Monday morning to play softball for the Southeastern Community College Lady Rams for the 2024/2025 school year. Andrews will be a utility player for the team.  

Head softball coach and SCC athletic director Karlyn Stephens said she first heard about Andrews from her sister Hannah Andrews, who already plays for the Lady Rams. Stephens said she is looking forward to Andrews’ “positive energy and eagerness to learn.”  

This coming season at East Columbus will be Andrews’ fourth year on the Lady Gators softball team. As a member of the Lady Rams next year, Andrews will work towards her associate in arts degree.
