Southeastern Community College (SCC) is thrilled to announce the opening of its 2025 summer registration, offering a diverse array of programs for learners of all ages. From engaging high school camps to adult education courses and transfer classes, SCC continues its commitment to accessible, high-quality education in Columbus County and surrounding areas.
To better serve students and the community during the summer months, SCC will operate on a new summer schedule beginning May 19. College-wide hours will be Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 6 pm. The Bookstore will remain open later, Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 7 pm. Additionally, Student Services and the Library will extend its hours each Tuesday from 8 am to 7 pm.
Career Training: Take short-term training in trades, business, or healthcare.
SCC offers a wide range of courses for adults aiming to advance their careers or pivot to new fields. Programs are designed to meet the demands of today’s workforce and include but aren’t limited to:
- Trades: Automotive, Engineering, Welding, and more.
- Business Careers: Agribusiness Technology, Early Childhood Education, Cosmetology, and more.
- Healthcare: Medical Laboratory Technology, Phlebotomy, and more.

Stay on track or get ahead in your college journey with SCC’s summer transfer classes. Courses are available in 5-week, 8-week, or 10-week formats, both seated and online, giving you the flexibility to fit classes into your summer schedule.
