When there is a threat to campus safety or operations, Southeastern Community College will issue a Rams Alert. Rams Alerts are sent using a variety of methods, which are determined based on the nature of the threat. Ram Alerts may be sent via email, campus digital screen take-over, social media, the SCC website, and text message. This mixture of communication avenues allows the College to reach the widest number of people during an emergency.
We strongly encourage currently enrolled students NOT to opt out of text messaging because once you have opted out, you will not get emergency alerts.
