SCC is excited to partner with Columbus County Schools and Whiteville City Schools to bring you an unforgettable lineup of Summer Camps. These camps are an opportunity you won’t want to miss! Earn high school AND college credit!

These camps are for students in the class of 2026, 2027, or 2028. Camps include free transportation and meals. Please speak with your high school counselor or CCP Advisor to learn more.

Discover the Wonders of Agriculture!

This camp is great for students interested in nature, animals, and sustainable practices. You’ll learn through doing, with lots of hands-on experiences in farming, animals, and taking care of the environment. It’s perfect if you’re considering a career in agriculture, veterinary science, or environmental studies.

Students who complete this camp will receive the following industry-recognized credential:

  • NC Private Pesticide Applicator License

Qualifications: Students must be in the class of 2026, 2027, or 2028. Please speak with your high school counselor or CCP Advisor to learn more.

Put your Summer in High Gear!

This camp is perfect for students who love cars and want to learn about how they work. You’ll explore the basics of taking care of cars and fixing them, so you can keep vehicles running smoothly. It’s a great opportunity for students who are interested in becoming car technicians or engineers.

Students who complete this camp will receive the following industry-recognized credential:

  • Ford ACE S/P2 Automotive Service Pollution Prevention

Build Your Summer!

This camp is all about hands-on learning for students who love to build and create. You will learn important skills for construction and facility maintenance, like carpentry and electrical work. It’s a great opportunity for students who want to become carpenters, electricians, or construction managers.

Students who complete this camp will receive the following industry-recognized credentials:

  • Snap-On Multimeter Certification

Explore Engineering!

Unlock the world of innovation and problem-solving through hands-on engineering challenges. Participants will delve into topics like operation and design of a fluid power system, electrical wiring techniques and tools, and troubleshooting. Ideal for students aspiring to become technical service providers, engineering technicians, or industrial managers.

Students who complete this camp will receive the following industry-recognized credential:

  • OSHA 10

Unlock the World of Healthcare!

Step into the fascinating realm of healthcare with our Healthcare Exploration Summer Camp! Embark on engaging hands-on activities as you explore various healthcare fields. From medical laboratory technology to phlebotomy and nursing, this camp offers a firsthand look at diverse career paths in healthcare. Discover your passion and uncover the perfect career for your future!

Students who complete this camp will receive the following industry-recognized credential:

  • Heart Saver CPR
  • Heart Saver First Aid
  • Stop the Bleed

Power Up Your Future!

Get hands-on with the systems that keep homes and businesses comfortable year-round. In this camp, students will explore the basics of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR), with a focus on electrical fundamentals, safety, and system operation. You’ll learn how HVAC systems are wired, controlled, and maintained, while gaining real-world skills used in the construction and skilled trades industries. This camp is ideal for students interested in HVAC technicians, electrical trades, or careers in construction and facilities maintenance.

Students who complete this camp will receive the following industry-recognized credential:

  • OSHA 10

Make a Spark this Summer!
