At the July Southeastern Community College Board of Trustees Meeting, reappointed board member Jack Hooks was sworn in by Columbus County Clerk of Court Jess Hill.

Hooks is a Whiteville City Schools appointee and has served on the board since 2013. His term will expire in 2021.
