Electrical Lineman
Our 10-week Electrical Lineman program prepares students for entry-level work in the electric utility industry, focusing on the skills needed to build, maintain, and repair power lines in a variety of settings. This hands-on program combines field training with online learning to help you develop the technical knowledge, physical ability, and safety awareness required to work in a high-demand field.
Admission Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma, GED, OR successful completion of a Reading Placement Test. Diplomas or certificates outside the United States require successful completion of a Reading Placement Test. Transcripts can be ordered through the National Student Clearinghouse.
- Ability to read and speak English
- Valid driver’s license

Class Schedule
The Electrical Lineman Training program spans 10 weeks and follows the schedule outlined below:
- Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: Online instruction
