It’s the first step to a healthcare career!
At Southeastern Community College, high school students in Columbus County and Whiteville City Schools can apply for the Pre-Healthcare Academy.
This Academy helps students jumpstart their education through a balance of healthcare-related classes, one-on-one support, and access to resources that prepare them for success in nursing, allied health, or other medical fields.
Students can take prerequisites early, saving time and money, while also exploring a wide range of healthcare careers—from nursing to phlebotomy, or medical lab technology. Whether your goal is to transfer to a four-year university or earn a degree that allows you to begin working right away, SCC’s Pre-Healthcare Academy puts you on the right path.
