Pickett Council was recently sworn in as a newly appointed trustee at Southeastern Community College. She is a Columbus County Commissioners’ appointee and her term will run through June 30, 2022. Henry Edmund was reappointed as a trustee by the Columbus County Board of Education. His term will also run through June 30, 2022. The oath for both trustees was administered by Columbus County Clerk of Court Jess Hill.
