SCC Celebrates the grand opening of Advanced Manufacturing Training Center

On Wednesday, September 23, 2020, Southeastern Community College held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Columbus Chamber of Commerce to officially celebrate the grand opening of the new Advanced Manufacturing Training Center.

The facility officially opened in Summer 2020 but due to COVID-19 a formal grand opening was delayed.

SCC produced a virtual tour to highlight the new facility. The facility is open and ready to serve Columbus County and surrounding areas.

SCC appoints two new members to the Board of Trustees. Dr. Timothy Lance was appointed by North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper. Lance takes the place of outgoing board member Terray Suggs.
