Southeastern Community College has announced that on the evening of Friday, April 23, they will host a High School Senior Open House.
“Although this year was not as high school seniors had planned, they remained optimistic and grateful in the face of adversity and I am truly inspired by their determination to finish strong,” says SCC President, Dr. English. “These students deserve to be celebrated.”
The Open House will provide an opportunity for students to learn about all the exciting pathways available at SCC as they plan to take the next steps to prepare for a career. The college will be hosting tours across campus in pathway programs like Nursing and Healthcare, Engineering, Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services, Basic Law Enforcement Training, and much more.
Tours will be followed with food and fun that will end with an optional community-wide movie night on the lawn.
Dr. English shared, “We were disappointed we were not able to host all high school seniors on our campus in the fall as normal. We hope students and their families will join us for an evening of fun.”
