The Associate of Arts degree program is designed to prepare students to transfer into a baccalaureate degree program in an arts, business, communications, social sciences or similar area. The course options allow for alignment in many programs with many area institutions including, but not limited, to East Carolina University, Fayetteville State University, Mount Olive College, North Carolina Wesleyan College, University of North Carolina at Greensboro, University of North Carolina at Pembroke, and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington providing 60 hours of credit towards a four-year degree.
